Free general membership in SEAWA is open to individuals and organizations in the following categories:

  • Regulatory, Administrative Members

  • First Nations & Métis
  • Academic Institutions & NGO's


Responsibility of Membership

  • Actively participate in meetings of the Membership and/or Special Project Teams;
  • Function within a collaborative, consensus based approach to decision making and in doing so respect the views of others;
  • Promote the Vision, Guiding Principles and Goals of the SEAWA within their respective
    organization, community, and sphere of influence; and
  • Be active in the affairs of the SEAWA, including working with other members to implement SEAWA projects and undertake SEAWA activities.
